I apply an eclectic approach to the therapy process, depending on the person and context that presents. There are many valuable theories and approaches out there and I tend to gravitate toward the more somatic (body-centered) practices. I am certified in therapeutic, trauma-informed yoga and like to regularly use mindful breath and gentle movement in session along with traditional talk therapy.
Once we get to know each other, our goals and therapy framework become more clear and we can find what works best for you. I truly believe everyone has the ability to heal with the right balance of safety, mindset and skills.
